So, as per request, featured on the right is Ima [mom in Hebrew, and I call her Chermles, a nickname that pretty much originated out of thin air... well, it was Ima, then Ima/Cheema, then just Cheema, then Chermles...], and Dad!  

After this great lunch, we drove over to Pier 39 to set out for Alcatraz Island, or The Rock.  Sidetracking, we have a list of movies that we have to see when we get home, but does anyone have any suggestions?  We have: Joy Ride, The Rock, Field of Dreams, Major League, Road Trip, White Fang, Casino, and about a million more movies.  Please send in suggestions that relate to the trip!  AYM4@Cornell.edu.

Anyway, The Rock tour was a great time!  We took a 12 minute ferry ride to the island, walked up the hill to the jail, and each got an audio tour headset.  They really give you a detailed experience of the jail and provide you with some fascinating stories about life in Alcatraz, including some cool escape stories.  After getting back to free land [we didn't have to swim], we drove to the house of our Orthodontist's daughter, Ruth Katz!  Greeted by her and her husband, Michael, we were given an extremely hospitable welcome!  Their house is on a huge hill and has a great view of the entire city of San Francisco.  We went to bed relatively early, to wake up for our morning departure to Napa Valley for a full day wine tour!
